Arica Rusco, MS, CF-SLP, earned her Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Kentucky in 2024. She is currently completing her clinical fellowship with the University of Kentucky Voice and Swallow Clinic at the Head and Neck Cancer Clinic in Markey Cancer Center. Arica has received advanced training in the evaluation and management of communication and swallowing disorders related to head and neck cancer, including alaryngeal speech. Her clinical expertise includes tracheoesophageal prosthesis (TEP) management, electrolarynx training, the McNeill Dysphagia Treatment Protocol (MDTP), Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES), Videofluoroscopy (VFSS/MBS), and a range of other diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for individuals with communication and swallowing disorders.
