The College of Health Sciences Creative Services team is here to help faculty and staff with a variety of design, marketing, communications, alumni, and branding needs. All materials concerning College branding (logos, etc.) and external brand messaging should be created or approved by our team. Our role is to ensure your project is consistent with UK and CHS branding standards, messaging, and licensing requirements. Each unit within the College of Health Sciences has an important story to tell united within overall CHS messaging. Let us help you tell your story!
AI Policy
It is very important that AI-generated graphics not be used to promote any event, promotion, research opportunity, etc, that will be seen by audiences external to this college. AI-generated graphics do not follow UK brand guidelines and are often not ADA compliant.
It is acceptable to use AI to generate graphics as a reference material to send to Creative Services if you would like. However, please also send the text content you would like in an email or text document as has previously been the process.
These policies may change over time in line with University policies as those begin to roll out.

- Synergy — the College's biweekly mag/newsletter, highlighting accomplishments and features
- CHS Connect (College news) - biweekly internal announcement newsletter
- Creation and dissemination of news releases
- Public relations needs coordinated with UK PR (pitching to the media, press conferences, UK Now, etc.)
- Gateway magazine — CHS' biannual Magazine featuring stories about our students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends.
- Assist in coordinating photography needs

- Host alumni events and programs both on and off campus
