John, a Lexington native, brings a wealth of institutional knowledge to the College of Health Sciences since joining in October 2023. His journey at the University of Kentucky began in 2010, with a rich tapestry of experiences at the UK College of Nursing and the UK School of Journalism. He now arrives at the College of Health Sciences, having previously contributed to the Center for Interprofessional and Community Health Education. As a dedicated two-time alum, John obtained both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Kentucky. Beyond the academic realm, he's a passionate cook, nurturing a garden of vibrant vegetables, and enjoys leisurely strolls with his Westie, Cooper.
