Our major areas of focus are aging and frailty, applied nutrition and metabolism, health services, human performance, injury prevention, neuromotor and sensory performance, rehabilitation, and voice and language disorders. In our College, bench scientists, physical therapists, athletic trainers, physician assistants, health service researchers, academicians, and students work together to create new knowledge to solve old problems. The common thread woven throughout our work – whether it is in the classroom, clinic or the laboratory – is the desire to translate our knowledge into practice to improve human health and function.
