Students Turn Out for UKPT Career Fair

Dozens of alumni and other representatives came to the 2024 PT Career Fair at the UK Student Center Wednesday to network with students from the Physical Therapy program — and possibly to recruit them, too.
For Allison Hull, PT, DPT, it was a bit of a different perspective. Last year, she was on the other side of the table, looking for work. Then she graduated from UK's PT program.
Wednesday, Hull — now a physical therapist with Chicago-based Athletico — was able to share her experience with some of her former peers.
"It's been interesting seeing some people I know, yes," Hull said. "But I can answer their questions. I can tell them about how I made the transition and it was really smooth and I really enjoy what I'm doing."
Natalie VanArsdall, PT, DPT, CMTPT, AIB-VR/CON, the Clinic Manager and a physical therapist with Athletico, noted the company came back to the Career Fair to find more employees like Hull.
"Definitely — we've been so impressed with her," VanArsdall said. "We wanted to come back and find more, because we know there is a lot of talent here."
