Active Girls Healthy Women Programs to Sponsor

Girls Can Move!

Girls Can program

Give girls the chance to fall in love with movement! Bring a fun 8-week after-school program that introduces girls to new physical activities in safe, supportive spaces while building connections with our Movement Mentors (student volunteers).

Learn to Balance Bike

Child using the Learn to Balance bike

Help bring educational programming and physical activity fun to a preschool class and their families! Kids aged 3-5 will learn bike riding skills using balance bikes, and families will receive guidance and take-home educational materials to support staying active as a whole family. Sponsorship supports 10 giveaway bikes, helmets, biking books, and more!

Bring Movement Supplies to a Family

Bingo board with movement activities

Put active play within reach! Sponsor a Movement Supply Kit for a local family – simple equipment like balls, movement dice, jump ropes, and more! Plus, our ABC Movement Cards and Movement BINGO to make moving together easy and fun..

Support a Student Research Project

Students presenting research

Fuel the science behind stronger futures! Sponsor a student-led AGHW research project that helps us better understand what works to support girls’ physical activity and health.

Move & Learn Series

Students exercising

Give a local school the support of a monthly, 2-hour physical activity and education session. Middle school girls will try fun workouts like Pilates, yoga, taekwondo, and more by supporting our Movement Mentors who lead the sessions, plus the supplies needed to make it happen.
