Amelia Bruce Leicht, Ph.D., CSCS joined the University of Kentucky in July 2023 as a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Athletic Training and Clinical Nutrition. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2017 and a Masters of Science degree in Exercise Science in the research concentration in 2019 from Appalachian State University. Dr. Bruce Leicht earned her Ph.D. in Sports Medicine from the University of Virginia in 2023. Her current research interests are directed towards neuromuscular and limb loading adaptations following lower extremity ligamentous injury.
