Ashley holds a Master's Degree in Sociology from IUPUI and will earn her PhD in Sociology from the University of Kentucky in June 2023 with a specialization in Medical Sociology. Her research primarily focuses on mental health and stress in the context of gender and family relationships. Her other research interests include aging and the life course and the intergenerational transmission of adversity.
