Donna joined the College of Health Sciences in July 2004 as a Staff Support Associate I for the PA program's HRSA training grant. The primary responsibility of her current position is to assist our program’s clinical coordinators in assigning rotations (about 660/year) to the clinical-year PA students. Her duties include ensuring proper agreements are in place with preceptors and clinical facilities, providing documentation needed for student credentialing at rotation sites, maintaining clinical-year student records, serving as the PA program's primary contact person for AHEC and recording the minutes of Clinical Curriculum Subcommittee meetings. She also updates the division's alumni contact information and acts as the contact person for physicians wishing to post PA job opportunities for PA program graduates.
Donna grew up near Flemingsburg, Kentucky. She received two associate degrees (Science and Environmental Science Technologies) from Maysville Community College before she and her husband moved to Lexington in 1999 to attend UK. At UK, she earned a BS in Natural Resource Conservation and Management, a graduate certificate in Environmental Systems and a BS in Community & Leadership Development.
