The importance of the 360 evaluation surveys

Faculty and Staff,

Once again, I’d like to congratulate you on making it to the finish line of the spring semester. I hope you know how much I appreciate all of your hard work during this challenging time.

Now, as we transition into summer mode, I want to quickly remind you of another important task to complete before we forget: The IDEA Administrator and Chair 360 evaluation surveys and Administrative Services survey.

Here are a few reminders about the surveys:

• Surveys will be live from May 24-June 7.
• It is very important to complete and provide your feedback related to performance of support services. Everyone should complete their surveys.
• Department Chair surveys will be sent to those within respective departments. Associate Dean surveys will be sent to all faculty/staff. Qualtrics surveys with other centralized administrative units will be sent to all faculty/staff. Note: The PA department will not be evaluating the department chair since the chair left this semester and the current interim chair has only been in a temporary appointment for a few months.

Again, please complete these surveys. The information will help advance the efficiency and effectiveness of our college operations. Your comments will enhance our understanding of areas in need of refinement in the College and ultimately make our College an even better and more effective workplace for our students, staff and faculty.
