Elizabeth received both her Master’s in Physical Therapy in 2005 and DPT in 2008 from the University of Kentucky. She is the Co-Coordinator for Shoulder to Shoulder Global along with her colleague Ellen Stockhausen. Elizabeth helps to coordinate donations of equipment and supplies and arrange the transport to Ecuador for the three interprofessional service learning brigades yearly. Elizabeth traveled to Ecuador with the Timmy Foundation while she was still a student. Since 2008, she has returned to Ecuador several times as a practicing physical therapist. In 2014, Elizabeth traveled to Mayasandra, India with Shoulder to Shoulder Global to help develop a partnership with a small school in a farming village for children with disabilities. She continued to visit the school with an interdisciplinary team until 2020, when COVID-19 caused the school to close. Since graduation, she has been a staff physical therapist at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital. For the past 10 years, Elizabeth has been the lead in-patient therapist for both the Orthopedics and Fragility Fracture teams. She has also served as adjunct faculty for several courses at the University of Kentucky since graduation.
Elizabeth is married to her wonderful husband and they have 4 bulldogs. Elizabeth and her husband spend their time playing volleyball and boating. Elizabeth also participates in triathlons and attends both UK sporting events and Ohio State Football games.
