Hannah Anderson, MSPAS, PA-C is a Lecturer at the University of Kentucky Physician Assistant Program. She is a Lexington native, and is proud to live and work in the Bluegrass. After completing an undergraduate degree at Taylor University, she worked in community health in Lexington and Colorado before attending PA school at UK. She is passionate about training resilient, excellent healthcare providers to provide optimal patient care for their local and global community.
As faculty, she has the unique role of instructing undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate learners in the College of Health Sciences, PA Program and UK PA Academic Residency Program. She is actively growing the community engagement opportunities for the UKPA program, and is eager to unite interprofessional efforts to improve the health and wellness of the Commonwealth and beyond.
She is certified through the NCCPA and is licensed by the Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure. After graduating from PA school, she practiced in Trauma and Acute Care Surgery. She currently works in primary care in Student Health at University Health Services. She is involved with the Kentucky Academy of Physician Assistants and endeavors to support the growth of the PA community. Outside of work, she is eager to be outside and active with her family.
