Jessica is a pediatric physical therapist who recently joined the UK Pediatric Therapies' team in November of 2016. She graduated from New York Institute of Technology with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2012.

She then began her career as a school based physical therapist in Southern California. For 3 years, she worked with a variety of diagnoses in the school system including developmental/gross motor delay, progressive neurological conditions, genetic disorders, Cerebral Palsy, and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

She completed the Johns Hopkins Hospital and the George Washington University pediatric residency over a 13.5 month period in 2015 and 2016. This experience primarily based in acute care also incorporated pediatric rehabilitation, outpatient, school based, early intervention, and a teaching assistant position at George Washington University in their pediatrics class.

She evaluated and treated a variety of diagnoses including neurological, developmental, orthopedic, torticollis/plagiocephaly, sports injury, burns, cardiopulmonary, and genetic conditions among many others over a variety of settings from the acute to chronic stages. Researching the most current evidenced based practice was an active component of the residency and has carried over into her current work setting. With a great interest in the infant population and the first year of life, providing care to promote appropriate pediatric development and early intervention is very important to her. However, overall development, rehabilitation, and the pediatric population in general hold a special place in her heart.
