Karolina Kopyonkina is the Program Coordinator for the Active Girls Healthy Women Program in the Sports Medicine Research Institute at the University of Kentucky. She earned both her Master of Science in Medical Sciences and her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Kentucky. In her role, Karolina supports research, outreach, and education efforts that promote physical activity among girls, women, and families. She also serves as a co-advisor for the Movement Mentors student organization, helping engage student volunteers in mentorship, community outreach, and physical activity programming.
