Andy Williford is a 2011 graduate of the UK Department of Physician Assistant Studies. With 10+ years of clinical work in Emergency Medicine and Family Practice, practice ownership, and administration; PA Williford brings a unique perspective to the University of Kentucky Department of Physician Assistant Studies since joining in 2022. He is involved in both the didactic and clinical portions of the Physician Assistant education experience.
Andy is an NCCPA Board Certified Physician Assistant and is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Kentucky. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), the Kentucky Academy of Physician Assistants (KAPA), and the Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA).
His focus is on the education of superlative Physician Assistants through case-based learning. He is passionate about Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) and Genomic Precision Medicine and he brings practice and industry experience in both realms.
