After an early career with the Boy Scouts of America, Russ transitioned to healthcare, managing clinics and urgent cares for Alegent Creighton Health in Omaha, Nebraska. He managed the onsite clinics for Premise Healthcare at Cummins and Toyota North America before working with Xerox's healthcare innovation group. For the last several years, he has worked at University of Kentucky Healthcare; first as a Finance Business Partner and most recently as the Clinical Administrator for the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Russ has been happily married to his spouse, Carrie, for nearly thirty years. They have five grown children, four of which still live in the Lexington area.
