Elise Craig grew up in Lexington, Kentucky.  She graduated from Georgetown College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.  She graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders.  While attending the University of Kentucky, she completed a training grant focusing on providing services for children with complex communication needs.
