Taliah Carlson is a Research Biomechanist (Scientist I) in the BioMotion Lab within the Department of Physical Therapy. She graduated with honors from the University of Kentucky with a B.S. in Kinesiology and Exercise Science and went on to earn her M.S. in Kinesiology, Recreation, and Sport Studies with a concentration in Biomechanics from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She also gained applied sports science experience with the Tampa Bay Rays, supporting athlete performance and injury prevention initiatives. Her research interests include lower-extremity biomechanics, injury prevention, rehabilitation outcomes, and performance optimization.
