Wafa Suleiman, M.S., CCC-SLP, is the Academic Support Services Director in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. In this role, she supervises first-year graduate students in the Academic Clinic as they evaluate and treat clients with various communication disorders. She also teaches courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level.
Mrs. Suleiman teaches Careers in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Introduction to Clinical Management at the undergraduate level. At the graduate level, she instructs Clinical Orientation and Clinical Practicum in Speech-Language Pathology.
Before joining the University of Kentucky, she worked as a pediatric therapist in private practice for 14 years, specializing in Early Intervention, Autism, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, and Speech Sound Disorders. She also collaborated with other professionals to diagnose Autism in both children and adults. Additionally, she served as a CFY supervisor and clinical instructor.
