Congratulations to the 2023-24 PA Residents who recently celebrated their residency completion!

PA Residents from UK Healthcare, UK St. Claire Medical Center, St. Elizabeth Health Care, and Baptist Health Lexington were recognized for completing their one-year specialized residency training through the UK PA Academic Residency Program.

Niem Khan completed his residency at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Cardiac Surgery. After residency, Niem will be staying at St. Elizabeth where he completed his residency and working in Cardiac Surgery.

Brayden Imel completed his residency at UK Healthcare in Acute Care trauma Surgery. After residency, Brayden will be staying at UK Healthcare and working in Trauma and Acute Care Surgery

Keren Akakpo completed her residency at Baptist Health Lexington in General Surgery After residency, Keren will be working in Orthopedic Surgery at Adventist Health in Sonora, CA.

Tyler (Ty) Cunningham completed his residency at UK Healthcare in Hospital Medicine. After residency, Ty will be staying at UK Healthcare and working in Hospital Medicine.

Asna Patel completed her residency at UK St. Clare Medical Center in Hospital Medicine/Critical Care. She is currently seeking opportunities in Hospital Medicine and Critical Care.
