One Day for UK
The College of Health Sciences knows that Kentucky Can do anything because we’ve seen it in action with you – our faculty and staff. CHS alumni have started free health clinics in Kentucky and opened clinics to care for orphans in Africa. Our students invest in local and national communities through service-learning courses that teach them about the compassion a career in health care demands. And, our faculty and staff are dedicated to seeing Kentuckians rise above health-related challenges and reclaim their lives. Please join us in celebrating our shared accomplishments and supporting the work of our students by participating in One Day for UK.
One Day for UK is a 24-hour day of giving where alumni, faculty, staff, parents, friends and fans can support their favorite college, cause or area. It is a day to celebrate the University of Kentucky’s achievements and to ensure the university’s future success. All gifts support our comprehensive campaign, Kentucky Can: The 21st Century Campaign, which increases opportunities for student success, funds innovative research, improves health care, strengthens the alumni network and enhances athletic programs.
The common thread connecting us all is our work. Whether it’s in education, research, or service, we’re helping people attain optimal health. And, we know each member of our CHS community contributes to that in a unique and vital way. We are so grateful for you every day, carrying out our mission, and improving the lives of Kentuckians and beyond.
In the College of Health Sciences, we’re gearing up for One Day for UK by asking you to give at least $25 to help support future healthcare leaders, and the well-being of the Commonwealth.
Will you join us on this endeavor? Together, we can discover what’s wildly possible.
