UK Closed Tuesday, Jan. 27, Due to Inclement Weather

Dear Campus Community,
In the interest of the safety and well-being of the campus, President Eli Capilouto has determined that the University of Kentucky will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 27, due to inclement weather.
UK HealthCare facilities remain open and are operating on regular schedule.
In-person classes for students are canceled.
University Plan B (designated) employees are to report to work under the University’s weather policies. Designated employees via remote access should work remotely during Plan B operations. If employees have questions about procedures for their work, they should contact their supervisor.
Our goal is to return to normal operations on Wednesday, Jan. 28. We will continue to monitor conditions closely and provide updates via email and at www.uky.edu/alerts.
This decision gives our facilities and grounds crews another day to maintain and clear roads, parking lots and sidewalks.

Student services:
- All campus dining locations are open from 7 a.m.-8 p.m.
- Gatton Student Center is open from 7 a.m.-8 p.m.
- UK Bookstore open from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
- GSC Starbucks is closed.
- Alumni Gym is open from 6 a.m.-8 p.m.
- The 90 is open from 7 a.m.-8 p.m.
- Libraries are closed.
- Johnson Center is closed.
