LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 18, 2025) — The recent flooding in Kentucky has devastated parts of our Commonwealth, impacting many members of our community. The University of Kentucky activated its Emergency Operations Center on Sunday, Feb. 16, and is responding to the needs of our students, employees, clinics and partners across the state.
Many units from across campus have already come together to deliver water and supplies to Eastern Kentucky. We continue to monitor impacts across the state and are providing support and resources for our students, faculty and staff who have been impacted.
UK’s Office for Student Success has reached out to students from impacted counties with support resources. Students can also request support at http://go.uky.edu/StudentHelp.
With recovery efforts underway, we need your help. UK is accepting monetary donations and supplies for our campus community members and Kentuckians most in need.

We pride ourselves on being a catalyst for breakthroughs and a force for healing, a place where ingenuity unfolds. It's all made possible by our people — visionaries, disruptors and pioneers — who make up 200 academic programs, a $476.5 million research and development enterprise and a world-class medical center, all on one campus.
