Where Are They Now ... CLM graduate Bailey Ratliff

This summer, the College of Health Sciences is spotlighting alumni from the Department of Health and Clinical Sciences in Where Are They Now posts.
Today, we'll hear from Bailey Ratliff, a 2024 Clinical Leadership and Management graduate:
"After graduation, I chose to stay in Lexington to begin my career in healthcare management,” Ratliff said. “I'm currently serving as Practice Manager for the Transplant Center at UK HealthCare, where I oversee operations for a multidisciplinary clinic supporting lung, kidney, liver, and pancreas transplant patients across four locations: Lexington, Louisville, Bowling Green, and soon, Ashland!
“In this role, I manage our front-line staff, lead daily operations, and help drive projects that keep our clinics running smoothly,” she continued. “I've found great fulfillment in this work and truly enjoy serving both our transplant patients and staff. The work our transplant team does is incredible, and I am grateful to be a part of it.”
Since graduating, Ratliff has also become an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Kentucky Chapter, which has given her the opportunity to connect with healthcare leaders across the state and country.
“Most recently, I’ve applied to the Master of Public Health program at the University of Kentucky, with a concentration in Health Management and Policy, to further advance my education and leadership skills,” she said. “Outside of work, I love exploring Lexington! Even after five years, I’m still finding new places to enjoy. I also love spending time with friends and family, whether here in town or back home in Northern Kentucky, where I’m originally from. In the summer, you can usually find me relaxing at the lake, and year-round, I’m always working my way through a new thriller on my Kindle or listening to a podcast!"
She said it was difficult to choose just one favorite memory.
"It’s hard to choose just one, but my favorite memories from my time at UK will always revolve around game days spent with friends and family,” she said. “There’s something really special about the energy on campus during those times. The excitement and traditions made those moments unforgettable!"
More great examples of alumni to come!
