Where Are They Now ... CLM graduate Hannah Brown Cardona

This summer, the College of Health Sciences is spotlighting alumni from the Department of Health and Clinical Sciences in Where Are They Now posts.
Today, we'll hear from Hannah Brown Cardona, a May 2024 Clinical Leadership and Management graduate:
"I work at UK Healthcare in the Don and Cathy Jacobs Health Education Center as a Patient Education Facilitator," she said. "I provide health education about anything and everything to patients, families, visitors, and providers!"
She said she also hosts informational open houses, provides multilingual education materials, works with department leaders to influence patient outcomes and health literacy, and partners with local organizations to disseminate health education to people all across the Commonwealth.
"I have been with the department for one month as I just graduated with my Masters of Health Promotion from the College of Education," Cardona said, "I also will celebrate my one year anniversary with my husband in July!"
And was what her favorite memory from UK?
"I always loved my walks around the health side of campus," she said. "After class, walking from Wethington to the Healthy Kentucky building, or grabbing a coffee at the Kentucky Clinic, the atmosphere always helped remind me of the importance of healthcare from every angle."
More great examples of alumni to come!
