SoTL FLC (Scholarship of Teaching and Learning – Faculty Learning Community): CHS faculty interested and/or engaged in scholarly activity focused on teaching and learning are invited to participate in community discussions to advance our SoTL work. The SoTL FLC will meet multiple times each semester to share project ideas, foster collaboration, share resources and more.
Scholarship Incubator: These sessions provide space for CHS colleagues to discuss their scholarly projects, obtain feedback, share resources, troubleshoot challenges, and brainstorm opportunities such as collaboration and more. This space is designed to welcome scholars of all experiences levels – creating a safe space to explore potential ideas and make connections. Participants are invited join colleagues to workshop ideas for abstracts, proposals, engage in peer review, etc.
Momentum - Virtual Writing Groups: Need writing accountability partners? Join a virtual writing group to boost productivity and stay motivated. The groups will meet at least three times each semester but may opt to increase meeting frequency.
Scholarship Skills Workshops: Interactive 45-minute workshops designed to enhance your scholarly toolkit. Topics may include qualitative research, innovative teaching strategies, technology integration, AI and learning, grant writing, and project management.
From Idea to Impact – Scholarship Strategy Sessions: Book one-on-one chats with the Director of Scholarship for support, encouragement, and guidance. Whether you're looking to explore an idea, identify collaborators, locate helpful resources, and/or strategize for publication or presentation, these informal conversations are an open, supportive environment where you can propel your work forward.
