The UKPA Program hosts Informational Sessions and Open House events each semester for the upcoming admissions cycle.
The 2026-2027 Admission Cycle opens April 30, 2026, and closes July 15, 2026, for the Class of 2029 who will begin the program in January 2027. The Open House and Online Info. Sessions have concluded for the 2026-2027 Admissions Cycle.
The 2027-2028 Admissions Cycle opens April 2027 and closes July 15, 2027. Info. Sessions dates for the 2027-2028 cycle are listed below for the Fall 2026 & Spring 2028 semesters. This is for the Class of 2030 cohort who will begin the program January 2028.
2027-2028 Admissions Cycle Informational Session Dates
Informational Sessions & Workshops are conducted using the Zoom platform with some in-person optional dates. The week of the Informational Session, the Zoom contact information will be emailed out to those who RSVP. Informational sessions and Open Houses are geared to undergraduate students, post-bach, or graduate/professional students who are interested in applying to the UKPA graduate program.
For high school students interested in pursuing PA in the future, the College of Health Sciences (CHS) has an undergraduate Human Health Sciences (HHS) degree with a Pre-PA track. The HHS program offers sessions more suited to interested high school students such as CHS Visit Days as well as Virtual Informational Sessions.
Virtual Informational Sessions
All sessions will begin at 12:00pm EST.
During the informational session, an overview of the profession, program curriculum, history, and admissions requirements and applications will be covered. The Essay & Application Workshop will cover how to complete the applications and an overview of how to create a personal statement. This session will also be conducted on Zoom by the Program Coordinator.

Open House Events
Open House events will provide applicants an opportunity to visit the campus location they are interested in applying the upcoming admissions cycle. The Open House will provide a program and curriculum overview, Q & A with faculty, staff, and students, and facility tours. Open Houses occur at the respected campus location and an RSVP is required for each event. Details about the location and agenda for each event will be emailed to those who RSVP 1-2 weeks prior to the event date. Seating is limited and we encourage those who are going to apply to our graduate program in the next 1-2 years to attend an Open House.

Please note, that we do not have access or permission to tour the UK Gross Anatomy lab. The tour will be short only showing the ITV classroom, lab rooms, and student lounge. If applicants are interested in a campus tour, they may contact UK's Visitor Center.
