CHS’ Lowman Named NAP Distinguished Fellow in Speech-Language Pathology
Joneen Lowman, PhD, CCC-SLP and Associate Professor in Communication Sciences and Disorders, has been named a Distinguished Fellow of the National Academies of Practice (NAP) in Speech-Language Pathology.
Distinguished Fellows in NAP are leaders in both their profession and in interprofessional care.
Lowman will be recognized as a member of the Class of 2025 in an induction ceremony at the Annual NAP Meeting & Forum, March 13-15, 2025, in Washington, D.C.
“I am truly honored to be named a Distinguished Fellow of the National Academies of Practice (NAP) in Speech-Language Pathology,” Lowman said. “This recognition means a great deal to me as it acknowledges not only my contributions to the field but also the importance of interprofessional care in our work.”
