This track in Hospital Medicine is located at the University of Kentucky, Good Samaritan Hospital and Chandler Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Embedded within the UK Hospital Medicine team, this residency track is designed to provide essential experience in the various functions of hospital medicine, including medical subspecialties, admitting service, and consults. On-site faculty engage the resident with case-based learning through morning rounds, procedural training, and weekly conferences. By the end of the year, the resident will obtain a level of knowledge and skill mastery to work as a hospitalist PA on any team.

- Hospital Medicine wards – Day Service (Core didactic – Cardiology)
- Admitting service – Day/swing/nights service (Core didactic – Neurology-stroke)
- Hospital Medicine Consults – Day service (Core didactic – Seizures)
- Perioperative Medicine – Day service (Core didactic – Nephrology)
- Hospital Medicine wards – Day service - (Core didactic – Infectious disease with emphases on sepsis)
