Application Process

The Certificate program is open to students enrolled in a healthcare graduate program and to practicing healthcare professionals seeking to expand their skill sets.

Application Due Date: April 14, 2024.

Program begins May 13, 2024.


UK Graduate Students:

1. Be enrolled in a graduate or professional program in a healthcare field,

2. Have completed at least one semester in the degree program,

3. Have a cumulative graduate GPA of 3.2 or better,

4. Submit a letter of interest explaining professional goals for completing the certificate program. The letter may be emailed to Dr. Joneen Lowman at joneen.lowman@uky.edu.


 

Graduate Students Enrolled at Other Institutions of Higher Education:

1. Be accepted into the Graduate School (The deadline to apply to the graduate school is April 14,  2024)

2. Be enrolled in a graduate or professional program in a healthcare field,

2. Have completed at least one semester in the degree program,

3. Have a cumulative graduate GPA of 3.2 or better,

4. Submit a letter of interest explaining professional goals for completing the certificate program.

 


Practicing Healthcare Professionals (Post-baccalaureate students):

1. Be accepted into the Graduate School (The deadline to apply to the graduate school is April 14,  2024)

2. Possess the necessary entry level degree in a healthcare profession, according to state credentialing and or licensure regulations,

3. Submit a letter of interest explaining professional goals for completing the certificate program.
