Application Deadlines
Prospective students must complete an application in order to be considered for admissions into the MLS program. The online application can be accessed via the link below. Application materials submitted after the posted deadline will be considered at the program’s discretion.
The application window for the Lexington campus is DECEMBER 1ST - MARCH 1ST.
The application window for the Hazard campus is DECEMBER 1ST - MAY 1ST.
The application window for the MLT to MLS Track is DECEMBER 1ST - JUNE 1ST.
- Applicants should have a 2.5 minimum cumulative GPA to be considered
- Those applying to the traditional track should have a plan for completing all of their professional pre-requisite courses before the program starts in August.
Application Process
- Complete the online application for the Medical Laboratory Science Program.
- Submit three recommendation forms and provide official copies of all higher education transcripts

After the deadline for applying to the MLS program, application packets will be reviewed. Qualified applicants may participate in a brief interview by MLS faculty member(s).
