Admissions Process

The following factors are taken into consideration as part of the admissions decision:

New Students (first-time freshmen)

• High school GPA (meeting a minimum requirement does not guarantee admission to the program)
• Application essays
• Admissions Timeline (see below)
• New students should apply via the UK application and select Human Health Sciences as your primary major.

Current UK students and transfers

• Cumulative college GPA of 3.0 GPA or higher (student must also exhibit a 3.0 semester GPA or higher during term of application)
• Application essays
• No more than 60 earned hours recommended
• Satisfactory completion of General Chemistry I with lab, General/Introductory Psychology, and any level Calculus strongly preferred
• Admissions Timeline (see below)
• Current UK students should complete the Internal Transfer application. Transfer students from outside of UK should apply via the UK application and select Human Health Sciences as your primary major.
