The following factors are taken into consideration as part of the admissions decision:
New Students (first-time freshmen)
- High school GPA (meeting a minimum requirement does not guarantee admission to the program)
- Application essays
- Admissions Timeline (see below)
- New students should apply via the UK application and select Human Health Sciences as your primary major.
Current UK students and transfers
- Cumulative college GPA of 3.0 GPA or higher (student must also exhibit a 3.0 semester GPA or higher during term of application)
- Application essays
- No more than 60 earned hours recommended
- Satisfactory completion of General Chemistry I with lab, General/Introductory Psychology, and any level Calculus strongly preferred
- Admissions Timeline (see below)
- Current UK students should complete the Internal Transfer application (currently closed). Transfer students from outside of UK should apply via the UK application and select Human Health Sciences as your primary major.
All current applicants to the HHS program should monitor their uky.edu email account for application status information.
