Welcome to the Sibu Saha Division of Post-Graduate Education in Physician Assistant Studies!
In 2025, the College of Health Sciences announced the naming of the Division of Physician Assistant Studies Post-Graduate Education in honor of Sibu P. Saha, M.D.
Dr. Saha, has a long career of advocating for the people of Kentucky through working to increase the access to health care through building training programs and mentoring countless learners. Dr. Saha who currently serves as the UK Physician Assistant Program’s medical director and the Division’s Chief of transition to practice and advanced training programs, he also a professor of surgery with a joint appointment in the College of Medicine and Pigman College of Engineering.
This division houses the UKPA residency program and planned doctoral program, which will help meet the growing workforce needs of Kentucky.
