Responses to a written and video prompt will also be required. Please refer to the CSDCAS for a full checklist.

What is the minimum GPA to apply to the AuD program?

The minimum GPA to apply to the program is 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.  Applicants should be aware that while 3.2 is the minimum, the average GPA of students applying to doctoral audiology programs typically ranges from 3.4-3.8 on a 4.0 scale.

No. However, audiology observation hours are strongly recommended to assure that you are familiar with the profession of audiology, the scope of practice, and typical work settings.

Are there prerequisites for admission to the AuD program?

Yes, the program requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.  While not required, coursework in the following areas is strongly encouraged, such as physics, biology, statistics, psychology, communication sciences and disorders, human anatomy and physiology.

How does the interview process work for the AuD program?

After reviewing the application materials, selected applicants will be invited for an interview. The interview may be conducted in-person or virtually and will assess both academic qualifications, non-cognitive abilities and fit for the program. We strongly encourage invited applicants to make every effort to attend in person to be assured that you are a good fit for our program, and we are a good fit for you.

Are there application fee waivers available?

Application fee waivers may be available to qualifying students. To request a fee waiver, please contact the admissions office.

What are the requirements for international students applying to the program?

International students must submit proof of English language proficiency (e.g., TOEFL, IELTS), a visa application, and a credential evaluation for any non-U.S. transcripts. Please visit this page for more information.

What is the application deadline for all student materials to be submitted for the AuD program?

The final application deadline for the UK AuD program is January 15, 2026.  Be sure to check the official CSDCAS portal  https://csdcas.liaisoncas.org/csdcas-students/ for any updates or specific requirements. Once submitted, CSDCAS requires approximately two weeks to “verify” your academic history, confirming that the coursework and the GPA you entered match your official transcripts.

Do you have open houses planned?

Yes. An open house will be held Friday, November 7, 2025, 2-4pm, and another open house in the spring semester.  The Spring date will be updated on the Audiology website.
